Stepping off the Track to Find My Own Path

I Quit. Now What?

Well, there’s the update in the header. I quit my job at Intuitive Surgical at the end of March 2025 to take a mini career break. In this post I will share some history and highlights from my time there. I will also explain why I decided to quit and what I have been up to lately.

I know signing up for an account can be a bit of a hassle, but it’s necessary to keep parts of my site private and create a more personal space. The good news: it’s a one-time setup, and you won’t need to do it again. Thanks for understanding.

  1. Thanks for taking the time to write and share this – it’s inspiring for me. (As someone on a similar track, about 9 months into my not-working life.)

What’s a big surprise for you that’s come from quitting work?

What’s a significant way in which you feel you’ve fundamentally changed from the past 3 months?
